Safe pass Replacement
The SOLAS Safe Pass Programme was developed following an initiative by the Construction Industry Training Committee. This initiative was incorporated into the Construction Safety Partnership Plan which was launched by Tom Kitt T.D., Minister for Labour, Trade and Consumer Affairs in October 2000.
Detailed consultation took place between SOLAS and expert working groups representing the Social Partners with the support of the Construction Industry Training Committee. The consultation focused on the content and delivery of the SOLAS Safe Pass Programme and took into account the target group to whom it was to be delivered.
Renewal of CSCS Registration Card
In order for you to renew your CSCS Registration Card you must have completed a minimum of 300 hours, acquired during the previous five year period, i.e. the five year period prior to the expiry date on your current card, carrying out tasks applicable to each skill/category for which you wish to renew your card, click here for CSCS Renewal Form. Applicants unable to achieve the required 300 hours must re-sit both the practical and theory assessment.
Operators renewing their CSCS Health and Safety at Roadworks Card are required to comply with the requirement for 300 hours experience, acquired during the previous five year period, as stated above. Operators who do not have the required experience must re-sit the relevant assessment
Replacement of a CSCS card
If your card has been lost, stolen or damaged you can apply for a replacement card by submitting the completed Replacement Card Form, a passport sized photograph (signed on the reverse) and a postal order or bank draft for the sum of €25 made payable to SOLAS.
Safe Pass Registration Cards which are being replaced are sent by the printing company directly to the individual requesting the Safe Pass Card. Replacement cards are generally issued within 2-3 weeks of receipt of fully completed Replacement Form and correct payment.
